My 30 before 30 bucket list

It all began with an idea to dive deeper into who I am. The first half of my twenties I finished college, got married and started a corporate marketing job. By the time I hit 25, I realized I really didn’t know who I was, but I knew I wasn’t happy so I took a leap and changed it ALL.

2019 I got divorced and in 2020, I took a leap and put myself out into the world of Wedding Planning because that was always my dream job! I later discovered that I loved event planning and although weddings are beautiful - I still felt as though I was missing something. From 2020 to 2023 I did not stop pushing myself and in the end of 2022 I hit a level of burnout I didn’t know possible. My hormones were flatlined and reading post menopausal - I also discovered that I have Celiac Disease. All to say - I ignored my self care in order to pursue a dream that led me to a point where ignoring self care was no longer possible.

I believe that everything happens for a reason - Even this crazy whirlwind! It led me to a journey of functional medicine and it gave me the desire to pursue a certificate in holistic Health Coaching through IIN. Through healing my body holistically, I also learned to reconnect with myself and listen to my body instead of staying stuck in my head - which is a trap we often fall into- especially as women!

It is so easy to get stuck into a trap of what we SHOULD be doing or where we should be in life. When the truth is we need to learn to trust that we are exactly where we need to be at. That is why this year, I decided to spend the last year in my 20’s dedicated to exploring things that I WANT to do in the spirit of reconnecting with myself! Here’s to my 30 before 30 bucket list!

  4. Learn to make {gluten free} sourdough bread

  5. Learn to make Apple Cider Vinegar

  6. Sew again - Make a fun sewing project!

  7. Study herbalism

  8. Learn how to make soap

  9. Get a reading from an intuitive psychic / medium

  10. Visit / go swimming in a hot spring

  11. Attend a wellness retreat

  12. Get a Reiki Healing / Massage

  13. Learn more about human design & how to implement into my business

  14. Explore my astrocartography chart

  15. Join a Woman’s Entrepreneurial networking group to attend events

  16. Start a holistic wellness & marketing blog

  17. Learn how to invest / become more financially literate & sound

  18. Pay off my credit cards

  19. See Gavin Degraw in concert

  20. Get in the PIT for a Hardy Concert

  21. Take a pottery class

  22. Try Paddle Board Yoga

  23. Try an aerial yoga class

  24. Swim in a waterfall

  25. Learn to make tea blends from scratch

  26. Donate my hair

  27. Do a brand photo / video shoot

  28. Declutter & simplify by life

  29. Do a line dancing class

  30. GO ALL IN ON MY BUSINESS - Quit my 9-5 by June 3rd.


Not going to lie, when I wrote this list out I was super excited but also intimidated! Leaving my 20’s behind seems unreal - But I know that I have had a lot of tough lessons this decade and it has brought me to a beautiful place and I can’t wait to see what this year brings!
